What is Mediation?
Mediation is a powerful way of resolving differences.  It is speedy, cost-effective and focuses on repairing and improving relationships rather than apportioning blame.  It can be used on a one-off basis in response to a specific situation, or it can be incorporated into your organisational processes and culture so that employees are encouraged to address issues proactively rather than allowing them to snowball.  Over 80% of issues which are taken to mediation are resolved to the satisfaction of all concerned.

How it works
Mediation consists of a series of confidential, informal meetings with the relevant people, which allow them to have straight conversations with each other, work through difficulties and agree on a way forward.  One of Twelve’s mediators will speak to you on the phone initially, agree a series of meetings and facilitate the participants to create an action plan to resolve the issue.  It allows good working relationships to be restored with the minimum of disruption, refocusing employees and teams on their business objectives.
